This is Western Nepal, and the first paraglider crossing.

This film, by Alun Hughes, documents a 300km aerial trek over the high Himalaya, starting on a hill top near the Nepal/India border, and ending in Jumla amidst a cloud of dust in a dangerously strong pre-monsoon valley wind.

'For its sheer audacity and story telling power, one of my favourites.' – Pat Morrow, Banff Mountain Film festival

'John Silvester is a true pioneer. His vision and courage have taken the sport of paragliding in to the realms that were thought impossible.' – Rob Whittall
