In one legendary week on Ben Nevis in 1960, Jimmy Marshall and Robin Smith climbed six first ascents on consecutive days, including the mini Alpine Route, Orion's Face. They also made the first one day ascent of Point Five Gully and on their 'day off' did a extended enchainment of the Ben Nevis peaks, culminating in a pub where they were arrested for an incident involving dominoes.
Exactly fifty years later Dave MacLeod and Andy Turner pay tribute to Smith and Marshall by setting out to repeat all the routes climbed that famous week. This film tells the story of that original week and follows the achievement of MacLeod and Turner as they discover just what a feat it was!
'The film works perfectly on many levels … its beautifully shot, creatively edited and produced …a unique documnetary of an era of Scottish Mountaineering.' John Appleby, Footless Crow
'A tremendous film that will delight the hill goers.'
